Peter's "No more Housework" Story.

Thursday, 15th November 2001.

Rene Wagner comes home from work at five clock (5 pm) she walks into the living room (lounge room) and she looks at her three children. The children are 14 years old, 13 years old and 9 years old.

The living room is a mess (untidy). There are empty glasses and dirty socks everywhere.

There are cookies (biscuits) on the sofa. Games and toys are everywhere.

Rene is very angry. "This place is a mess" she told her children "I cannot work all day and come home to do housework all evening. I am not going to do housework!"

Now Rene does not do any housework she does not clean or wash the dishes.

Rene does not wash the clothes do dishes she sits down every evening, and watches T.V.

After two weeks there are no clean plates, forks or glasses. All of the children's clothes are dirty the same as the house. Every rubbish bin is full. The house is a mess.

Then one day Rene came home from work and the kitchen is clean. This is a big surprise. The children have cleaned the kitchen.

The next day the living room is clean, and the children are washing their clothes.

Rene told her children "OK, I will do housework again." But you will have and help me.

Now Rene and her children all watch T.V. and do the housework together. A happy family again sharing everything.

Thank you,

Peter Risby.
